Learn English

Learn EnglishA key learning destination for those on holiday in the Maldives, English speaking centers are set up all over the island nation. No longer is this region only an island nation, as tourists from the UK, Canada and the US have flocked to the island nation to enjoy its cultural, natural and economic wonders. The diversity of the language and the environment of the island, allows a wider selection of languages to be learnt, such as English. This has led to English being spoken by everyone, except the native Maldivian Muslims. Although English is the official language of the Maldives, the country's other minorities include the Bauchi and Nasional, who speak their own language, Asghari, which they have been using for thousands of years. While Bauchi are used to their country being part of the country of the former Dutch East Indies, the Nasional are much more integrated into the Malay-Muslim culture of the Maldives, where English is the only official language, and the language of education.Students can choose to study English on the mainland and then return to the island, or study English from the centre, which allows them to learn English the natural way. It also gives them the chance to meet people with the same interest in the English language, while seeing what life is like to those living in the UK.Even though English is the official language, students of all ages can choose to study English at the centre, as there are many classes available. Enrolled in English learning center education will enable students to learn in a relaxed environment, not rushed with tight deadlines.English has many rules, that students must learn before beginning a lesson, such as using proper punctuation, avoiding slang and using correct grammar, among others. The teacher is always around to guide students, if they are having difficulties or can't understand certain things, the teachers can help them out. On the Island, many students find the English language harder to lear n than they first thought, so having the right teacher or English teaching expert in their corner can make a huge difference to how well they learn.Students studying English at a centre on the island, can also choose to learn English on the mainland, although many choose to go further afield, making sure they become fluent in the English language. Students are encouraged to take English lessons abroad, even though the language is easier to learn in a center, they are able to learn it the natural way, and they will feel more independent than ever. There are many colleges and schools to study English in the Maldives, each offering lessons in their own way, but there is no doubt that a centre will always offer the best choice. There are many opportunities available for students, from English language lessons to holiday activities and visiting the historic places in the island nation.
